Privacy Policy

This policy explains what AI Halloween Trend (https://aihalloweentrend.com) collects, why, who processes it and how long it is kept. We do not offer accounts or logins, and we do not sell personal data.

What we collect

Photos you upload. Used only to create the video you ordered. Generated videos. Stored so you can preview and download them. Email address. Collected by Stripe at checkout (and optionally in our form) to send receipts and one transactional email about your order. Payment details. Entered on Stripe's checkout page; we never see or store your full card number. Technical data. Your IP address is used briefly for rate limiting and fraud prevention.

How long we keep it

Uploaded photos and generated videos are deleted automatically after 7 days by a daily cleanup job. Rate-limit counters expire within hours; anti-abuse records (for example, whether a card or email already received an automatic refund) expire after 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law.

Who processes your data

• Stripe — payments, receipts, refunds and fraud screening.
• Vercel (hosting and Vercel Blob storage) — serves the site and stores uploads and videos under random, unlisted URLs until deletion.
• AI video providers (fal.ai or Replicate, running models such as Seedance or Kling) — receive your photo and a prompt to generate the video clips, under their own terms and safety rules.
• Resend — sends the transactional "video ready" or refund email, and newsletter emails only if you opted in.
• Upstash — short-lived keys for order locks, rate limits and abuse prevention.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the upload form, when enabled.

Emails

We send one transactional email per outcome (video ready, refunded, or manual review) to the address used at checkout. Marketing emails are sent only if you ticked the optional box or used the newsletter form, and every one contains an unsubscribe link. Ticking or not ticking the box never affects your order.

Your photos and other people

Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have agreed. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we never publish them.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your photo, video or email earlier, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing support@aihalloweentrend.com with your order link. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA) you may have additional rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.

Children

This service is not intended for anyone under 16, and photos of children must not be uploaded.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
